Michael C. Hall Up for the Lead in 'Big Fish' Broadway Musical

As much as we love 'Dexter,' the fact of the matter is that there's never been enough song and dance to balance out the murders. Lucky for us, Deadline is reporting that Michael C. Hall is in talks to star in a Broadway musical adapted from Tim Burton's 2003 film 'Big Fish.' In a role originally written for Hugh Jackman, Hall would play the lead role of Edward Bloom -- a traveling salesman and born storyteller who tries to reconnect with his son after a life on the road. While Hall is best known these days as everyone's favorite serial killer, Hall had actually performed in Broadway musicals from 'Cabaret' to 'Chicago' before making his way to the small screen. Nothing's confirmed as of yet, but we're very interested to see what Hall would bring to a role that Ewan McGregor ran away with. Watch the trailer for 'Big Fish' [via Deadline]
