Their interview, which made an appearance on the rankings-increased broadcast Rock Center With John Williams, was interspersed with straightforward questions from Costas about accusations that Sandusky involved in criminal sexual conduct with underage boys for a long time. Sandusky's solutions, as Costas stated, did little to clarify the conditions from the 40 counts of sexual abuse introduced from the former defensive coordinator. Pretty hard to confuse the type of horseplay that Sandusky referred to -- despite the fact that that might be by itself inappropriate -- to confuse that type of horseplay having a forcible rape." Costas noted the participation of now-ousted Penn Condition coach Joe Paterno also remains particularly cloudy, with Sandusky's reactions about Paterno's understanding from the accusations revealing no new information. "I don't think it may be described acceptable," Costas stated. "There's not a way to describe it away. The extent of his participation or non participation has not yet been fully established."
