It would have been in the late 1980s or early 1990s when this was on
tv. I remember the girl running around in the dark and then a man with
a mustache discovering her dead body in the first few minutes of the
film. It might have been a feature film, though I just remember it
being on tv. it might have also been a costume drama of sorts, set in
the late 1800s or early 1900s. A mystery film,... the girl does die at
the beginning.
Might have also been a dumbwaiter shaft.
